THE Region Two Regional Democratic Council (RDC), on Monday, honoured reporters based in the region, at their last statutory meeting for the month of December. Clerk of the RDC and Regional Executive Officer, Devanand Ramdatt, said the media have been very supportive in highlighting work done in the region.
He also said that whenever they are invited, reporters are always present and have undoubtedly helped to present positive stories highlighting the region’s works.
As such, he said the council decided to recognise their efforts. Those recognised were Indrawattie Natram of the Guyana Chronicle; Remario Blair of Kaieteur News; Mohanlal Suelall of The Guyana Times; Shawn Marks of local RCA Television; and Deoshankar Mohan, owner of advertising agency.
