EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Tashmini Sewah, on Friday, received an electronic tablet from President, Dr Irfaan Ali, which will be used by her to facilitate virtual classes.

President Ali presented the youngster with the device after her mother, Shelly Drugan, appealed for assistance at the presidential outreach which was held in Region Six on Friday.

After receiving the tablet, Drugan said she was very happy that her daughter would finally be able to attend school after months of inactivity and expressed her sincere gratitude to President Ali.

Sewah was also extremely happy and excited about classes. (Office of the President)
