LIVESTOCK farmers and pet owners residing in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region can now have quick access to veterinary services as Amara’s Animal Supplies has opened its door. The clinic offers veterinary care and provides a variety of nutritional needs for animals.
Owner of the veterinary clinic, Shevonne Amara Bryne, of Lot 106 Anna Regina recently completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and has opted to open her own business.

She opened the doors to the clinic on September, 25, 2020 next to the Paragon Cinema in Anna Regina . When asked why she chose such a path, the young entrepreneur said it was the only way she will be able to work in the field she is passionate about.
“My vision for Amara’s Animal Supplies is that it will become the place where livestock farmers and pet owners on the Essequibo Coast will turn to for all of their veterinary care and nutritional needs.”
Bryne said her animal supplies shop advises on nutrition and feeding, animal husbandry and management, animal care and health, genetics and breeding and even record-keeping and finance.
The clinic is equipped with products ranging from vitamins, amino acids, electrolyte, antibiotics, vaccines and dewormers. She also has locally-made products such as fish meal, cornmeal and molasses urea block.

All veterinary clinic appointments, she said, is done by certified veterinarian, Dr. Randy Domer and herself. The clinic offers services such as deworming, vaccines, boosters and builders, disease diagnosis and treatment of pets.
Next month, the clinic will start to offer more services such as grooming, spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries.
Products sold at the clinic are advertised on its social media platform, Facebook, Amara’s Animal Supplies and the owner could be reached on WhatsApp (592-689-8611).
The young entrepreneur believes that her business is a blessing since it allows her to give back to the community that helped to shape her into the woman she is today.
