COMMANDER of ‘G’ Division, Crystal Robinson and her team defined the true meaning of serving humanity when ranks from the division pooled their resources to help cover the funeral expense of three-year-old Kissoon Williams. Williams was brutally stabbed on August 15, 2020, by his uncle who went berserk at Bat Creek, Upper Pomeroon River.

After the autopsy was performed by the government pathologists recently, family members told police that they could not afford to offset the funeral expense of the toddler. They related that they were very poor and would welcome any assistance.

Police from the Charity Police Station, along with members of the business community, immediately came on board and assisted. The child was interred at Onderneeming and the service was conducted by Suddie Police Station District Cops and Faith group representative, Arlene Paul.

Grandmother of the child, Malinda Daniels, received $35,000 and a coffin to assist. She extended gratitude to the commander of the ‘G’ Division and her team for their kind support.
