A DEPUTY police commander, and his charges, on Saturday, destroyed one acre of cannabis trees measuring three to five feet in height and a camp in West Canje, Berbice, Region Six.
Reports indicate that the plants were cut down and subsequently set ablaze.
Also destroyed was a quantity of suspected dried cannabis found under the camp with an approximate weight of 25 pounds and a street value of some $19M.
