THE People’s Progressive Party/ Civic (PPP/C) is urging the public to be aware of a fake account on social media platform, Twitter, professing to be an official account of the party and its leaders.

The party, in a release, said the fake account, which operates under the handle @PPPCIVIC_Guyana, is not in any way affiliated or connected to the party or its members.
“The public is, therefore, advised that the Twitter account is fraudulent and that they should refrain from engaging the page,” the terse statement concluded.
