ON Friday, February 28, 2020, Krishana Singh appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on a fraudulent conversion charge.

The charge alleged that, on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Water Street, Georgetown, Singh was solely entrusted with $10,500, the property of Bibi Thirteen, to purchase three bags of garlic and deliver same; but, he used it for his own purpose.

The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge

Magistrate Daly, gave the defendant an ultimatum. Singh was ordered to do two weeks of community service or be fined $5000 for the offence.
