Bees force closure of National Park

THE Protected Areas Commission was forced to close the National Park indefinitely on Saturday,citing an invasion of bees.

“We are working feverishly to investigate and have this matter sorted as soon as possible. The decision to close is to ensure that all patrons and citizens are safe and unharmed,” the commission said on Saturday.

Later in the evening, the commission said that the park remained closed since the origin of the bees could not be determined.

It was noted that the bee experts have been contacted and will work to ensure the park is reopened soonest.
