A NURSE attached to the Suddie Public Hospital in Region Two was on Friday morning rushed to the said hospital in an unconscious after she was reportedly hit down by a speeding car on the Queenstown Public Road.

The nurse was identified as Dars Bissoon from Bartica. She was living at Windsor Castle at the time of the accident.

The accident reportedly occurred around 8:00 am Friday in front of the popular Gokul Hot Dog stand in Queenstown. According to a resident, Shelon Gokul, she was in her house when she heard a loud impact.

She immediately rushed out when she saw a nurse lying on the ground. The car driver was also around. Gokul said she picked up the nurse in an unconscious state.

The police were summoned to the scene and the driver is currently in police custody. The nurse at the Intensive Care Unit at the Suddie Public Hospital.
