POLICE Commissioner Leslie James expressed heartfelt congratulations to some of the sixty-four members of the GPF who, last Saturday, graduated in a number of academic disciplines during U.G’s 53rd Convocation at its Turkeyen Campus, Greater Georgetown, Guyana.

Flanked by very senior officers Thursday in the Commissioner’s Conference Room, the Commissioner congratulated the ranks.

The Commissioner had also graduated with a Commonwealth Master’s in Public Administration. Mr. James was appointed to pilot the Guyana Police Force in August 2018.
During his visits to the various Policing Divisions at the time he was studying, he urged ranks to pursue higher learning, while commending those who had already done so, either from the University of Guyana or other Tertiary institutions.
