A 30-year-old labourer of Patentia,West Bank Demerara was today jailed for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Sherwin Glenn appeared at the Wales Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Zameena Ali-Seepaul.

He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
