– two female suspects in custody
TERRY Ault, a miner of Lot 63, Block ‘A’, South Sophia, who was reportedly shot in the wee hours of Sunday morning, died as a result of multi-perforations due to gunshot injury, an autopsy conducted on Wednesday has confirmed.
As investigations continue into the shooting to death of the 28-year-old South Sophia, Greater Georgetown resident, police have arrested and are grilling two females in connection with the murder.
Relatives said Ault left home to attend a pool party in the community but they are unsure what triggered the shooting incident.
“We don’t know what really was the conflict that led to his death,” one relative said.
Reports indicate that Ault was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Cooperation (GPHC) where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The miner leaves to mourn his reputed wife, daughter, father and four other siblings.
