ROSE Ramdehol, the local agent for the Hero brand of motorcycles, has returned to the Petra organisation for the ongoing Corona Futsal tournament.
The South Road-based company yesterday announced that it will be handing over one Hero Honda 150cc motorcycle to the MVP of the tournament.
Joshua Ramdehol, speaking on behalf of the sponsor, noted that he was happy to see his company continue their support of the Petra Organisation event.
Co-Director of Petra, Troy Mendonca, expressed appreciation to Rose Ramdehol for the support, before disclosing that the tournament continues tomorrow with the first five matches in the group round-robin stage.
Twelve teams have been divided into three groups following two nights of elimination matches. Those teams are: Tucville, North East La Penitence, Leopold Street, Back Circle, Sparta Boss, Bent Street, California Square, West Front Road, Mocha, Future Stars, Beacon and Tiger Bay.
The teams that end atop the group stages will be awarded as follows: first $40 000; second $30 000; third $15 000 and fourth $10 000, as an added incentive.
In the grand finale, first-place winners will receive $500 000 while second-placers will pocket $250 000. Third-placers will cop $125 000, while fourth-placers will have to settle for $75 000.
