THE community of Mocha was, on Monday April 15, 2019, plunged into a state of mourning as 44-year-old Arnold Kissoon tragically lost his life, as a result of a hit and run accident at Peter’s Hall on the East Bank of Demerara.

Kissoon, an employee of Texilla University which is located in the vicinity of Providence East Bank Demerara, was reportedly walking along the East Bank Demerara Public Road when the accident occurred.

The sister of the now deceased man told the Guyana Chronicle: “We glad fuh see the camera footage and who hit he down and we need justice.”

Kissoon, who was a maintenance supervisor at Texilla University, leaves to mourn a wife, five children, six sisters and three brothers.

Police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
