… Marks up for re-election

THE Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation’s (GABBFF) Annual General Meeting and Elections will take place tomorrow at Giftland Mall Administration Building, on the southern side at Plantation Pattensen, Turkeyen from 11:00hrs.

Interested persons who wish to vote can register before or on the day of the elections and the affiliate membership fee is G$1 000.

The six executive posts up for contention are President, Vice-President, Treasurer, General Secretary, Assistant Treasurer and the Organising Secretary. There are also six Committee Members’ spots.

Coel Marks who is the current president will be going up for re-election, while Keavon Bess, a former president, Videsh Sookram, a former Organising Secretary, and Yannick Grimes will be his rivals.

Delegates will now be required to cast a ballot. This is a change from the previous format of voting, which was done by a show of hands.
