The company, which is now well established, does value-added processing of grey snapper, banga mary, trout and other wild-catch fish, producing products such as seasoned fish, fish fillet, nuggets, steak, headless and head-on fish.

Guyana Gold Fields, the Guyana Defence Force and the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation are among its local buyers.

The company also exports fish to the US, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica and is famous for its boneless and skinless saltfish.

In March 2018, President David Granger had toured the West Ruimveldt facility and said that the company’s operations were “entirely in keeping with government’s food security policy”.
