AUDITOR General, Deodat Sharma was among several US-based Guyanese who joined in celebrating former Alliance For Change, MP, Charrandas Persaud, for “betraying” his party and voted to topple the government two weeks ago.

Persaud has been making several guest appearances in Canada and New York, where he has been hailed by mainly PPP supporters for his vote. Deodat Sharma holds a constitutional office.
