A student of the La Bonne Intention (LBI) Secondary School, Aron Halley, has been found safe and sound after it was reported that he was missing since Friday, November 30.
The boy’s grandmother, Joan Yearwood shared with the Guyana Chronicle on Tuesday that she had just found Halley at the home of her sister-in-law, in Mahaicony.
“Yesterday [Monday] I hear he gone to my sister-in-law in Mahaicony,” Joan related and highlighted that she made her way up to get him on Tuesday.
Joan said that her grandson is okay and he would be heading back home with her to their East Coast Demerara (ECD) residence. At the time however, she was uncertain as to what happened to him but said that she would talk to him as he settles in.
Over the weekend, it was circulated on social media that the young boy was missing since Friday after he was last seen leaving the school at about 14:30 hours. He was dressed in his school clothes.
