CHIEF Magistrate Ann McLennan on Wednesday released a 50-year-old man on $200,000 bail after he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.

Robin Marks of Norton Street was not required to plead to the two charges, with particulars alleging that during the month of February 2018 he sexually assaulted the girl.
The matter was heard in-camera and Marks was subsequently released on $100,000 on each count. The matter was adjourned until July 6.

According to reports, during the month of February, Marks and the teen were living in the same tenement yard. It is alleged that he touched the teen’s breast and kissed her on the lips.
