A 26-year-old woman was on Monday sentenced to 12 months imprisonment after being found guilty on a felonious wounding charge.

Lisa Bobb was on trial for unlawfully and maliciously assaulting Crystal Bobb, her cousin, thus causing grievous bodily harm to her. At the end of the trial the woman was found guilty as charged.

According to information, on the day in question, the two cousins were involved in a heated argument during which the defendant became annoyed and dealt her cousin a stab with a knife to her right hand.
