Woman busted with ganja in Cook-up rice at Camp Street prison

A woman was on Tuesday afternoon held by the authorities after she  attempted to smuggle a quantity of marijuana into the Camp Street prison in Georgetown for a murder accused.

Reports are that the drug was found stashed in boxes of cook-up rice and plain rice. The woman attempted to deliver the food to murder accused Orpheus Johnson , who is on remand for murder.

The woman was later taken into custody at the Alberttown Police Station.(Leroy Smith)
