ANNANDALE secondary, Christianburg Secondary and Morgan Learning Centre were victorious yesterday as the Milo Schools football tournament continued in Georgetown.
In the first game of the afternoon, Annandale shot four past Friendship who could only return one as action heated up at the Ministry of Education Ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Marlon Hyman gave Friendship the opening goal in the 3rd minute before Trevor Fiffee drew things level in the 19th minute. Troni Semple would give Annandale the lead for the first time in the fixture in the 27th before Omar Glasgow slotted in his side’s third in the 33rd.

Semple would complete his brace in the 41st to end the game 4-1.
Game two was a slaughterhouse affair with Christianburg sealing shut Vergenogen’s coffin with 11 nails.

The onslaught started as early as the 3rd minute through Mickel Adams before Brentsley Allicock etched his name on the scorecard in the 9th. Adams completed his double one minute later and Andre Myers joined the party in the 16th followed by Randy Pickening (21st).

Mayers went on to score twice more before the close of the half (27th and 30th) with Allicock completing his brace in the 42nd and Akeem Caesar joining the fun in the 43rd.
Mayers would score his fourth goal and the team’s tenth in the 50th minute with Hirani Gilkes closing off the proceedings in the 73rd.

Morgan Learning Centre was also on fire against School of the Nations, winning 13-0 with Koby Durant scoring a hat-trick (10th, 26th and 36th) while there were a pair of braces from Dorwin George (3rd & 46th) and Nixion Robertson (55th & 64th).

Wellington DoSantos (12th), Adrian Adelph (13th), Randy Roberts (18th), Rueben Miller (65th), Ryan Dowding (42nd) and an own goal accounted for the 13-0 scoreline.

Matches continue next Saturday at the same venue in the tournament, sponsored by the Ministry of Public Health.
