Thieving pair to slake unusual thirst in jail

–after caught red-handed with fridge-full of beverages

 

TWO Campbellville Housing Scheme men were on Friday sentenced to 12 months in jail for stealing a refrigerator filled with over $200,000 worth of beverages.
Alex Bernard, 20, and Seon Adams, 19, were sentenced by Magistrate Judy Latchman after confessing to simple larceny, as charged.

Particulars of the charge allege that on January 2, at Seawall Road, Georgetown the pair stole a refrigerator filled with a quantity of beverages valued $202,000.

According to a report, the two were caught red-handed by the police with the items in the refrigerator along the seawall road.
