POLICE on Sunday arrested a 28-year-old after a .32 Pistol with three matching rounds of ammunition were found under a pillow in a bedroom in a house located at Bourda, Georgetown.

In a statement, the police said it acted on information and conducted a search at the house at about 04:30hrs where the firearm and ammunition were found.
In a separate incident, six persons between the ages of 18 and 39 years old are in police custody after a .32 pistol with a magazine was found by a police Anti-Crime Unit patrol at about 23:30hrs on Saturday, at Norton Street, Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara.
The men were at the junction on Norton Street when they were intercepted.
