Buzzing this weekend

THIS weekend, things get started on Saturday, where the biggest talk this week has been the “Split in Di Middle” dance-off competition that’s going to be going down at the Diamond Tarmac tomorrow!

There’s also the short jeans party at Palm Court, where the ladies will be out to represent in the gender face-ofd with the guys!
There’s some American football Sunday night, and, as always, 704 Sports Bar has you catered!
During the day, for some good wholesome family fun, you could swing by a sports day that the Rotary Club is having at Bourda, and support a worthy cause!
You could also get a chance to support relief for our hurricane-affected victims while also having some fun at another party happening down at the District Ultra Lounge up at Giftland, also on Sunday.

TOMORROW

**592 Movement and Jumo Primo present the annual short jeans party reloaded! It’s “Short Jeans: Gender Face-off, Equal Rights and Justice” at Palm Court!
Two male Vs two female DJs! Selector Carla and Shizzle from the Boom Station, and DJ Anisah and Reecietee out of Trinidad will bring the vibes!
Anything goes, and it will be epic! Ladies free before 22:00hrs! Admission: $2000.

**We ah go split it pon Diamond Tarmac! Dwayno, Hot Skull, and Bald Head present the “Split It In Di Middle” party and dance- off competition that is going to be heated at the Diamond Tarmac.
First prize $50,000, second prize $25,000, and $10,000 for third! Anyone can enter! Mr. Split-In-Di-Middle Freezy will take the stage live! Gully Ras, Diamond, DJ Stephen among others will keep the vibes going!

**It’s Corona Happy Hour with Jermaine at the Mixed Moods Jazz Sports Bar and Restaurant this and every Saturday!
Special music performance by DJ Avalanche and the Corona Girls! Free Cutters with the purchase of three or more buckets of Corona.

 

SUNDAY

**Young Pioneers will be hosting a party to raise funds for charitable activities, including aid for victims of Hurricane Irma at District Ultra Lounge!
Get ready for great music and great fun. Party starts at 20:00hrs! Admission: $2000.

**It’s Sunday night football at 704 Sports Bar! If you’re hoping to catch this weekend’s game of the Raiders Vs Redskins, then there’s no better place to be than 704 Sports Bar.

**The Rotary Club of Georgetown is having a Day of Sports at the Georgetown Cricket Club Ground, Bourda!
There’s going to be tug-o-war, cricket, lime- and-spoon, egg throw, sack race and much, much more fun for the entire family!
Snacks and drinks will be on sale! BBQ $1200.
