THE East Demerara Lions Club, two Saturdays ago, visited the Joshua Home on Thomas Street, Georgetown, where they made donations to the children living at the facility.

The donation included clothing, shoes and school bags (back packs). The items were handed over to Director of the Institution, Ms. Gladys Accra by President of the East Demerara Lions Club, Lion Claire Velloza and First Vice-President Lion Doreen Hendy and was witnessed by Lion Faye Fraser and Lion Hugh Cummings.

The donation was in keeping with the organisation’s motto: “We Care.”
