Mr and Mrs Charles and Daphne Nelson on their 50th wedding anniversary

MR and Mrs Charles and Daphne Nelson of Flying Fish Street, Festival City, North Ruimveldt, have more than good reason to celebrate.
They are celebrating Golden Jubilee anniversaries on May 2016 and April 2017.
On May 26, they proudly joined the rest of Guyana in celebrating Guyana’s 50th anniversary as an independent nation, and on April 8 this year, it was with a sense of gratification that they, who are members of the Guyana arm of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter Movement, celebrated 50 golden years of marriage and a splendid family relationship.
On this auspicious occasion, Marriage Encounter Guyana joins the couple’s daughters Rhonda Marie and Dr Sherelyn Stanton and other relatives and friends in congratulating them on this noble accomplishment.
Entreating God’s continued blessings upon their lives, the movement prays that they may continue to love and cherish each other and continue to be role models for other married couples.
The Marriage Encounter Guyana seeks to change the world through the embrace of responsible and intimate relationships, with God at the centre of things.
