WEST Indies star batsman Chris Gayle is hopeful a new generation of cricketers led by England bowler Tymal Mills can aid in helping Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to its first Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 title.

Despite having Gayle, one of the most explosive batsman in the world, RCB have consistently played the role of bridesmaids after making three finals.
A high power batting line-up, which includes Gayle, team captain Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will once again give the team a good chance to end the title drought this season. RCB, however, look a less explosive unit when it comes to the bowling line-up, with the £1.2 million Mills thought to be the main weapon.

“Mills has been very good all around the world since he started playing international cricket,” Gayle said.
“Hopefully, he will lead from the front and fit in nicely. There are quite a few young guys who’ve been in the team as well and I’m sure they will fit in well.
“We have a great captain and a lot of senior guys to actually gel with the youngsters and hopefully we’ll get a good start in the tournament and take it from there.”
