BUSINESS persons now have at their disposal Chartered Accountants, Professional Services Firm managed by chartered accountants Chateram Ramdihal and Floyd Haynes when it comes to sound management of their enterprises.
Under the motto “We serve for your success,” the two highly qualified professionals are offering services including in accounting, auditing, taxation, event management and management consultancy and training.
The newly formed company is the brainchild of local chartered accountant, Chateram Ramdihal and his overseas-based business partner, Floyd Haynes.
The launching took place Friday night at Cara Lodge, Quamina Street, Georgetown, and was attended by Minister of Business, Dominic Gaskin; Minister of Public Telecommunications, Cathy Hughes; Attorney General Basil Williams; Minister of Natural Resources, Raphael Trotman; members of the chartered accounting firms, relatives and friends.
Minister Gaskin told the gathering that the partnership will effect a skills and knowledge transfer between the diaspora and local Guyanese in the finance and accounting fields.
It will create opportunities for further professional development and training for local staff, since the Guyanese diaspora is a tremendous resource, he added.
Ramdihal, who worked for many years with the Government, including the Attorney General’s office and other accounting firms, said he decided to launch his own business after becoming a licensed accountant.
He said the business idea had been in the pipeline for a year, but came to fruition after Floyd Haynes came on board.
Ramdihal said too that with significant growth, Guyana is poised for development and wants the business to be seen as a partner, not as a competitor.
According to him, he and Haynes have something in common, which is love for Guyana and wanted to combine their expertise to provide a world- class service to Guyanese.
Their office is located at 128 Carmichael Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
Ramdihal is a senior accounting and financial management executive with more than 17 years experience in finance and operations management in both the private and public sectors.
In 2015, he established his own firm, Chateram Ramdihal Chartered Accountants, Professional Services Firm, where he led a diverse team of professionals.
Over the years, Ramdihal has proven his ability to improve operations, impact business growth and maximise profits through achievements in financial management, cost reductions, internal controls and productivity and efficiency improvements.
Haynes, who is a Guyanese-born professional with more than 30 years of experience as a business executive, said has partnership with Ramdihal will assist local businesses.
Haynes holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
Haynes is also an adjunct professor in finance and is a public lecturer in leadership and management.
He is the founder and President of Haynes Incorporated, a Washington-based accounting and management consulting firm.
The firm brings together the expertise of partners along with the support of 14 professionals, semi-professionals and support staff in Guyana.
