QUEEN’s College downed St George’s 4-0 in the final game of yesterday’s round of matches in the Ministry of Public Health/Milo sponsored U-18 schools football tournament at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
The Thomas lands-based side returned to winning ways with a brace from Kevin Wills-47th and 63rd, one from Jonathan Connelly-45th plus an own goal.
Elsewhere, it was a battle between Mae’s secondary and Tutorial high as they played to a 5-3 score line in favour of the former.
For the winners, Yevdistir Persaud’s brace in the 23rd and 48th was instrumental in the result with Akeem Hutson (7th), Darshan Persaud (11th) and Diego Britton (65th) each scoring a goal.
Steve Stanton (26th), Monty Tyrell (48th) and Travis Hercules (56th) were on target for Tutorial.
In game two,North Georgetown and School of the Nation played to a goal-less stalemate,while Central High went down 0-2 to Dolphin Secondary with Beres Parkinson (4th) and Levi Vancooten (31st) on the money once each.
