BRANCH Manager of the Port Kaituma MACORP office was remanded to prison on Tuesday by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan for the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Karim Price, 25 pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on February 23,2017 at Fitzburg Sports Ground, Port Kaituma, he had in his possession a 9mm pistol when he is not a licence firearm holder. He also denied that on the same day, he had 12 live 9mm rounds in his possession without being the holder of a firearm licence.
