family-oriented background.
The proprietor and distinguished entrepreneur, Paras Prashad, highlighted that the family- oriented business aims to provide the most affordable services to valued customers.

The pharmacy opened only this month, but already offers prescription and over-the-counter medication and features trained doctors ready to provide services to patients at the pharmacy six days a week, during the evenings and all day on Saturday.
“Our doctors provide services for $2,500 the most… the cheapest compared to any other pharmacy,” Prashad stated.

Additionally, the pharmacy boasts laboratory services and attributing to its mandate of providing the best prices and services to customers, customers can get blood sugar and cholesterol tests done at a cost of $300 and $950 respectively.
Being deeply attached to the community, Prashad disclosed that the pharmacy and the family aim to provide informative medical outreaches to members of the Little Diamond community.

“We want to have a workshop at least every three months, when we can throw out a tent and have the community come out; we’ll be discussing different topics… like cholesterol control and how to manage your cholesterol or sugar control,” he added.
He also mentioned that while these outreach programmes are an independent gesture, he intends to involve pharmaceutical companies and the Ministry of Public Health, so that they would be able to provide more than just information-distribution services.

“What we are trying to do, in addition to carrying out informative sessions with members of the community and having our doctors give them advice, is provide some sort of medical check-ups,” he also noted.
“We are looking to have the Ministry of [Public] Health come in, because this is like we’re helping them to carry out their mandate,” Prashad mentioned. He also signalled that the family pharmacy is eyeing conducting a blood drive here, in collaboration with the ministry.
However, there have been no fixed dates for the commencement of these community outreach programmes. Nonetheless, Prashad said that the persons can expect to see these programmes shortly.
