SINCE the mysterious disappearance of Indira Jaipersaud, 19, an Internet café employee on November 23, family members remain hopeful of locating her as they continue to appeal to members of the public to assist them.

The teen also called “Indy” of Good Hope, West Coast Demerara, left her workplace and told her mother that she was going to run an errand before returning home, but she never did.

Several calls to her cell phone went unanswered and her location remains unknown, according to her mother Deowattie Singh.

Jaipersaud was last seen at Tuschen Public Road, East Bank Essequibo at about midday on November 23.

Singh told Guyana Chronicle that she is hoping that someone would call and say something as she has been searching for the teen ever since she failed to return home.

“I am so worried and I am praying that she is okay,” the mother said.

A missing person’s report has since been made to the police and anyone with information as it regards to the locating of the missing teen are asked to contact the nearest police station or her parents on 682-7058.
