THIRTY-one-year-old Jason Joseph, better known as “Chicken,” of Charlotte Street, Bourda, was remanded to prison when he appeared before city magistrate Judy Latchman charged with breaking and entering. It is alleged that on August 17, at Charlotte Street, Joseph broke and entered the Internet café of Orlando Boston and stole one Dragon Touch Tablet valued G$25,000, and G$142,000 in cash, property of Boston.
The police prosecutor objected to bail, on the ground that the defendant was positively identified by the CCTV cameras in the area, and the police were able to recover the ‘Tablet’.
The matter has been adjourned until September 7 for statements.
