East Bank/Upper Demerara franchise confirms team for 3-day Franchise League

THE East Bank/Upper Demerara franchise has confirmed its team for the upcoming Jaguars Franchise League three-day competition. The contracted players on the East Bank/Upper Demerara franchise are Trevon Griffith, Sherfane Rutherford, Tevin Imlach, Vishaul Singh and Steven Jacobs. The other players are Shivram Persaud, Ryan Shun, Budah Baksh, Stefon Brown, Leonard Caleb, Colin Benn, Mark Rhobe and Danny Narine.
The standbys are Ershaad Ali, Deonarine Seegobin, Travis Primo, Sagar Hetharamani and Bhojnarine Singh.
The coach is Clive Grimmond and Rohan Sarjoo is manager.
The League, which bowls off tomorrow with four games, comprises eight franchise teams countrywide.
The other franchise teams are: Upper Corentyne (Nigg to Skeldon), Lower Corentyne (Albion to New Amsterdam), West Berbice, East Coast Demerara, Georgetown, West Demerara and Essequibo.
Each franchise will have its own base ground facility for practice, training and games along with its own set of officials.
It was confirmed that the Upper Corentyne franchise will have Port Mourant Community Centre ground as its base ground facility while Lower Corentyne will be based at the Albion Community Centre ground.
West Berbice will travel to Young Warriors Cricket Club ground, East Coast Demerara at Enmore Community Centre ground. Georgetown will be based at GCC, East Bank/Upper Demerara will be at Everest.
West Demerara will be at Wales and Essequibo was confirmed for the Imam Bacchus ground.
