Chase Academy’s Director confident of lifting DIGICEL Cup

DIRECTOR/Principal of the Chase Academy, Henry Chase, is bubbling with confidence and maintains ‘this year for sure our school would lift the DIGICEL Cup’ and end the four-year reign of Champions Wismar/Christianburg Secondary.Speaking to Chronicle Sport minutes after his side humiliated Bush Lot Secondary 10-0 in their semi-final meeting yesterday, Chase affirmed that his players this year are unbeatable,” I am positively certain we will lift the coveted Cup this year.
“We are much stronger and more experienced than last year when we lost the final. By far we are solid in all departments and can’t wait for whoever it is in the final, though we would prefer the champions. I think the country would also love to see such a final.”
Chase added that he was disappointed with the quality of opposition in the semi-final and hinted that maybe there is need to restructure the competition so that the best teams are in the last four.
He declared that Annai Secondary, whom his team defeated 2-1 to advance to the semis, were one of the best teams in the competition and deserved to be in the final four.
