SONIA Noel Designs played host to a series of events, titled Conversations & Clothing with Sonia Noel, over the weekend.The first was held here on Friday and ends tomorrow, while others were slated for the USA, in the states of Atlanta, New Jersey, New York and Texas.
The whole purpose of the idea, Noel said in a statement, was for persons to become more conversant and savvy where fashion is concerned.
“It is our intention to encourage persons to interact more at fashion events, and to provoke dialogue about life experiences within a relaxed atmosphere,” she said.
It is also intended that persons would benefit from wardrobe tips and image-management insights.
“We don’t have to know each other to strike up a conversation. You never know how some inspiring words from someone else can turn your life around,” she said.

According to the statement, “Sonia Noel continues to motivate through the fashion platform, and to inspire through the philanthropic spirit with which she’s been blessed.”
Just recently she was at a conference in the USA for women entrepreneurs and inventors, which provided networking opportunities with women, the likes of singer Dionne Warwick, actress Jasmine Guy, and talk show host, Maggie Lenton.
Participation in the symposium is free of cost, and mini-fashion shows will be staged at each event.
