THE Right Reverend Randolph George, former Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Guyana, passed away on Monday morning at the age of 92.His wife, Mrs Sheila George, disclosed that the retired Bishop died at his Lot 590 Republic Park, East Bank Demerara (EBD) residence at about 00:40h on Monday, following a brief illness. It is believed that the late Bishop George suffered a heart attack.

“He was the best in everything,” Mrs George said as she reflected briefly on the life of her husband.

The Right Reverend Randolph George had served as Bishop of Guyana from 1980 until 2009. He was not only a husband, but a father of four and a devoted leader.
