SLINGERZ, the unstoppable? The Vergenoegen-based club kept their perfect record in the STAG Elite League intact following their 4-0 win over Monedderlust. Their arch rivals, Alpha United, also continued their winning ways, brushing aside Buxton United 2-0.

Playing at home (Leonora Stadium) for the first time in the STAG Elite League Finale, Slingerz Football Club routed the winless Berbice club with goals from Trayon Bobb, Devon Millington, Domini Garnett and Grenadian International Kithson Bain.
In the night’s opening game, defenders Colin Nelson and Joshua Brown found the net for Wayne Dover’s Alpha United.
The League will now break to accommodate Guyana’s CFU Caribbean Cup match against Anguilla, at the Guyana National Stadium on Tuesday March 22.
