President grieves for young Romascindo

PRESIDENT David Granger extends deepest sympathy to the family and relatives of Alisha Romascindo, who perished in an accident on the Moruca River a week ago.The 16-year-old student of Santa Rosa Secondary School was travelling to the Kumaka Market area when another vessel collided with the vessel that she was travelling in, causing it to capsize.

“The President regrets the unnecessary loss of a young and promising life and empathises with Ms Romascindo’s grieving relatives, particularly her two older siblings who were travelling with her at the time of the accident,” a release from the Ministry of the Presidency said.
