COURTS Guyana Inc. in support of education in Guyana will be donating a television set and a gas stove to two schools today at 10:30hrs at its Main Street store.The furniture giant has, in the past, made donations to several schools with much needed appliances and other articles, and promised to continue to support the delivery of education.
Courts will be making donations to La Parfaite Harmonie Primary and Kingston Secondary Schools respectively. The students of La Parfaite Harmonie Primary were in dire need of a television to help them in audio-visual teaching in order to improve literacy at the school, while at Kingston Secondary, students were in need of a gas stove for practical sessions in Home Economics.
Courts, after becoming aware of the needs of these two schools, decided to assist by providing the much-needed items.
