A PEER educator and a sex worker were on Friday placed on $ 25,000 bail each after they appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann MacLennan charged with larceny. Twenty- two-year-old, David Bissoon of Best Road, Vreed-en –Hoop and 22-year-old Colin Abrams of Enmore North, East Cost Demerara, pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that both of them along with others on February 17, 2016, stole from the person of Ray Anthony La Cruz one radio set valued $100,000 and $50,000 in cash, property of the said La Cruz.
The facts of the matter were not stated and the matter was adjourned until March 7 and transferred to Court Six.
