Twenty – one – year old Citanya Kishundyal is in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital, nursing a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

According to reports reaching the Guyana Chronicle, the young man had just entered his Rose Hall, Corentyne home on Wednesday night when he was attacked by four bandits.

The Guyana Chronicle understands that Kishundyal is a member of the Hare Krishna organization.
