CITY magistrate Annette Singh yesterday remanded Isaiah Daniel to prison after he appeared in court to answer to the charge of simple larceny. The young man pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that on Monday, January 18, 2016 on Croal Street he stole one BLU cellphone property of Anthony Persaud.
Daniels is also charged with damaged to property, where it is alleged that on the same day and time he damaged one denim pants with a scissors belonging to the said Persaud.
The Police Prosecutor objected to bail based on the fact that the accused could not give a proper address and she was not sure if he was going to return to court when he should.
The matter was adjourned until February 5, 2016.
