IT IS not often that we feature a woman who has been making positive strides in society, fusing her beauty and classic intelligence to make a difference.The delightful Candasy Layne is a young lady with the makings of an international beauty ambassador; hers is a face that will definitely take Guyana places internationally.

While she is not immediately contemplating pageantry, she just might take a swing at the Miss Guyana World pageant come next year, since she possesses the ideal package that can maybe bring the crown to these shores.
Candasy Layne, who participated in the 2007 edition of the Miss Guyana Talented Teen Pageant and placed second in the ballroom dancing segment, has since furthered her endeavours to become an international flight attendant.
She is FAA-certified, having been trained at an FAA facility in Las Vegas. This bubbly lass enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world. She also likes exploring, watching movies, photography, interior decorating, and cooking.

She is a source of empowerment and inspiration to her peers, and is known for having positive solutions. Ms. Layne has a passion for volunteerism and planning events. She is also the proud owner of an Online company, and consultant to the Organo Gold Group of Companies.
Her favourite quote is, “Let no one discourage your ambitious attitude. You don’t need a fan club to achieve your goals; be your own motivation.”
