AS the close of 2015 draws near, EMPRETEC Guyana is in the process of conducting workshops that will help businesses to conclude the year on a high note and ring in 2016 with fresh ideas for continued success. Organizers of this United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD capacity building programme for entrepreneurs are of the view, that in preparing to close a productive year, it is beneficial for businesses to analyze, evaluate and forecast inventory for the upcoming year.
To this end, EMPRETEC Guyana has designed a Forecasting and Inventory Management Workshop, offering a range of tools and techniques to manage every inventory item according to its individual characteristics and the application of forecasting techniques in the planning process.
This workshop, scheduled for October 28 and 29, 2015, is aimed at improving the performance of businesses and helping companies to save annually on production and stock.
