A GROUP of Nurse Anaesthetists who recently completed training at the Georgetown Public Hospital, on Monday, met with President David Granger. They were accompanied by Minister of Public Health Dr George Norton.

The meeting was in response to a request seeking audience with the President for his intervention on matters related to placement and appointments.
Only recently, a group of registered nurses from different hospitals around the country concluded the two-and-a-half-year training programme. However, there were no vacant posts for their new-found skills.
The President has given a commitment that the matter will be addressed by Minister of State, Joseph Harmon, who has responsibility for the Public Service.
