Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo, along with several members of the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) met with a delegation of the Commonwealth Secretariat on Friday at Freedom House, Robb Street.Jagdeo and his delegation, including PPP’s General Secretary Clement Rohee met with Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Dr. Josephine Ojiambo and her delegates where he informed the visiting dignitaries of the PPP’s position on Parliamentary affairs, engagements with the Government as well as matters of social cohesion.
Dr. Ojiambo oversees the political, human rights, rule of law and communications work of the Secretariat. She has more than 25 years of experience in international relations, diplomacy, governance and policy advocacy.
