ACTING Chief Justice, Mr. Ian Chang, SC, on Friday last, granted 10 persons bail totalling $5,080,000, pending the hearing of their cases.Following is a list of the offences, the petitioners, and the bail granted each of them:

Possession of narcotics: Terry Defreitas – $1,500,000; Farood Hamid – $1,500,000; Nigel Gordon – $225,000; Kein Troupous – $500,000; Nichole Johnson – $600,000; and Ashley Sookhoo – $250, 000;
Sexual activity with a child family member: Dennis Norton – $250,000;
Unlawful wounding: Kevin Smith – $30,000; Shawn Richards – $75, 000; and
Inflicting grievous bodily harm: Hemraj Latchman – $150,000. (George Barclay)
