THE University of Bern in Switzerland embarked on an International Research Project using an attitude survey. The purpose of the project was to investigate national policy priorities in five developing countries. These countries include: Guyana, Malawi, Nepal, Sierra Leone and Turkey. The findings of the survey allowed researchers to ascertain how policy stakeholders recognise developmental challenges and also how they identify their own priorities and goals. These goals originated from the United Nations Millennium Development Goals on education, HIV/AIDS and poverty, and also they aim at presenting a summary of their results of the
survey. A workshop on these results will be held at the International Conference Centre, Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown tomorrow at 9:00 hrs.
The public is invited.
